Bottom line: the cheapest quote is only cheap if the packing fits, arrives, and passes inspection. Everything else is risk.

So glad I eventually started asking for the material certificate before paying the deposit. Almost approved the first invoice once, which would have been a mess. Dodged a bullet on that one.
